Scott Murphy

Co-Owner | Tampa Bay Flooring and More

(941) 224-3469

Growing up in Florida, Scott developed a love for baseball that would become a major part of his early life. He played throughout his school years and continued to develop as a pitcher, eventually becoming part of a championship-caliber high school team.

After graduating from high school, Scott spent the next five years working for a flooring product distributor, gaining valuable experience in the flooring industry and learning the business from the ground up. He later worked for two major flooring retail companies, where he continued to build his knowledge of the industry and developed a successful career in flooring sales.

Over time, however, Scott became increasingly frustrated with what he saw as the “smoke and mirrors” approach to sales. He wanted to do business differently—by being honest with customers, providing real value, and building relationships based on trust rather than simply trying to make a sale. That decision ultimately led him to become an owner of Tampa Bay Flooring and More, where he could put those principles into practice and build a business he could truly be proud of.
